The 75th-anniversary Juntos retells The Story of Pan Am: financial struggles, drought, hurricanes, and other calamities wrecked many of the campus' original buildings. Even so, faith and perseverance were never lost.

Accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; the 1988 yearbook notes accreditation by the Texas Education Agency as well. The Synod of the Sun contributes about 7 percent of operating income in 1987–88.
