Pan Am Alumni is an independent archive of the graduating classes of Presbyterian Pan American School in Kingsville, Texas — built from the school's own Juntos yearbooks so that the people in them can find each other again. It is made by alumni, for alumni; it is not run by the school.
Where every fact comes from
Everything on a profile marked Historical is transcribed from a printed yearbook page — portrait, hometown, quote, activities, offices, superlatives — and every profile cites the book and page it came from, with a link to the scan. Nothing is inferred and nothing is added. When a yearbook printed a typo, we kept it and noted it. When it printed only a state or a country, that is all we show.
Right now the archive holds 1,728 graduates and 1,566 more students who were printed on the class pages but never on a senior page — they left, or graduated in a year with no book — across 65 classes (1957–2021) and 58 scanned yearbooks. Home street addresses and telephone numbers that some older yearbooks printed were deliberately not transcribed.
The school’s own history
The history, presidents, trustees and campus pages are built the same way, from two kinds of source: the yearbooks themselves (the administration page, the Board of Trustees page, the anniversary essays of 1963 and 1988), and the public record — the school’s website, the Handbook of Texas, the 2012 state historical marker, the church press. Every fact links to its page or its source.
Institutional statements on the school today are quoted from ppas.org. The archive takes no money: the support page points to the school’s own giving channels and nowhere else.
Three kinds of information
- Historical — from the yearbook, page cited. Never edited.
- Verified — added by the alumnus after claiming their profile.
- Unverified — submitted by someone else, shown as such until confirmed.
Verified and unverified information carries a source, a date and a visibility setting chosen by the person it is about: everyone, alumni only, or nobody.
Is this you? Corrections and removal
If a page is about you, you decide what happens to it. Write to us and we will, at your choice:
- correct a name, spelling, hometown or anything else that is wrong;
- remove your portrait and keep the text;
- remove the whole page — your profile and portrait come down and your name leaves search and every list.
Ask here → Removal is on request, no reason needed, and is done by a person within a few days. The scanned yearbook pages themselves stay online as historical documents, the way a library copy would; only the profile we built from them is withdrawn.

Privacy, in plain words
We publish only what the yearbooks already published, about people who are now adults, and we take it down when they ask. We do not sell or share this data, run advertising, or track individuals. Claiming a profile requires sign-in, and anything beyond the historical page is published only with the explicit consent of the person it is about.
